ABOUT:

FlashB4NG is a group of five young artists who came together in order to move you. The name "flashB4NG" was chosen in 2008 to represent our desire to fill the world with light. Although only recently created, they have produced a cornucopia of art such as prints, one-page comics, stickers, t-shirt designs, etc. Subjects may include humor, cross-overs or anything based on anime, video games, movies and american comics. We are a hard-working organization that is determined to get in your faces and improve our skills TENFOLD.

GOAL:

Our goal in Flashbang is to have our burning passion EXPLODE out of our artwork like candy from a piñata. Inside flashbang we use a dizzying array of methods to portray our ideas with maximum dopealiciousness. As a group we do our best to help each other grow and maintain an enthusiasic environment. Members of Flashbang are encouraged to work diligently (or they will receive 100 lashes both back and front!) and be aware of the type of entertainment we are offering (SO NO PORN!!). We want others to understand what Flashbang's all about and hopefully come to enjoy our work as much as we do.

Prints from UPS

I am so upset with how the prints turned out this year! It wasn't because UPS wasn't great. The quality was awsome! It was the PERSON who did it for us.

He wasn't into his work and didn't care about what we wanted to print. He basically half-heartedly did everything we told him to do. On a side note, ever since working at my new job, my boss always tell me "I will never pass a 'thats just good enough'. I want you to be proud in EVERYTHING you do." Ever since then, I've been noticing many people who don't do their work seriously. It really disappoints me but .. I still have to work on it too.

First, we asked him to print on CARD STOCK, which he failed to do and printed them on regular paper. I absolutely hate being wasteful so I just accepted the way there where... Sadly, he didn't even try to take out the white border.

Secondly, he dropped one of our prints and handed it to us like nothing happened. Grr.

Thirdly, he wasn't even WILLING to cut the paper. He was trying to discourage us from asking him to print like saying, "It takes time, it costs extra.. etc"

I hope everyone else didn't have to put up with him! I'm contemplating whether or not I should send an email about this... I just don't want anyone to have the same experience as us. He didn't seem to care or respect what was important to us.

Other than that, I am very proud of our team for working hard!! Thanks a lot guys!! Go Team!! :D

The way it will work is, you send me an email at admin.flashb4ng@gmail.com or fill out the contact box on the side. In the subject put: 'FREE PRINT' and I'll give you a code and you can just give it to one of the members at our table during the con and you'll be welcome to pick ANY 8.5 x 11 print.
